AmarTrip is a technology-driven ride-sharing platform connecting independent drivers with riders all across Bangladesh. Our mission is to build a flexible, transparent, and rider-friendly transportation ecosystem where drivers have full control, fair opportunities, and reliable service.

What AmarTrip Is And What It Is Not

AmarTrip does not operate as a transport service provider.

Instead, AmarTrip acts as a neutral digital marketplace that facilitates trip requests, fare negotiations, and secure connections between riders and drivers.

Section 1 - Your Trusted Ride-Sharing Platform

At AmarTrip, every trip begins with trust, transparency, and smart technology. When you use the AmarTrip Driver app, you join a network of verified, independent drivers ready to connect with riders nationwide.

1.1 Trust

  • All drivers are thoroughly verified with identity, driver's license, and vehicle documents before joining.
  • Rider ratings and reviews hold everyone accountable and build confidence.
  • Friendly customer support is always available to assist you in Bangla and English.

1.2 Transparency

  • Fare amounts are negotiated and finalized before each trip starts-no surprises or last-minute haggling.
  • You can view rider profiles and trip details clearly to make informed decisions.
  • Easy and secure in-app payment options ensure you receive your earnings without hassle.
  • Full trip history is accessible anytime, so you can track your past rides and earnings.

1.3 Technology

  • Real-time GPS tracking lets both drivers and riders stay informed and safe throughout every trip.
  • In-app chat and calls connect you to riders without revealing personal phone numbers.
  • Ongoing ride tracking and instant trip alerts keep you updated on bid matches, trip start/end, and cancellations.

Scenario Example: Fatema, a university student, books a late-night ride home. She checks her driver's high rating, recent reviews, and vehicle info before confirming. She shares her live trip link with her brother for extra peace of mind. Meanwhile, you receive clear trip details, fare offers, and GPS navigation to complete the ride safely and efficiently.

Legal Clause: By using AmarTrip Driver, you acknowledge that AmarTrip only facilitates connections between independent drivers and riders. AmarTrip does not own, operate, or control vehicles. All trips are private agreements directly between drivers and riders.

Section 2 - Connecting Passengers and Drivers Seamlessly

AmarTrip makes finding and accepting rides simple, fast, and secure no roadside haggling or uncertainty.

2.1 How Matching Works

  • Riders post trip requests with pickup location, destination, and fare offers.
  • Drivers nearby get instant notifications.
  • You can accept rider offers or send counter-offers negotiate fares multiple times until both agree.
  • Once agreed, the rider selects you as their driver and the trip begins.

2.2 Communication

  • Communicate safely with riders via in-app chat or masked phone calls-your personal number stays private.
  • Live GPS updates show your real-time location to riders before pickup, helping them track your arrival.

Legal Clause: AmarTrip does not guarantee a match for every trip request. Matching depends on nearby drivers' availability and riders' freedom to accept or reject driver offers.

Section 3 - Using the AmarTrip Mobile Application

3.1 Core Features for Drivers

  • Live Bid Tracking: Monitor your active and past bids in one place. Place, edit, or accept rider fare offers instantly.
  • Trip Information & Navigation: Get full pickup/drop-off details with maps, timing, and fare breakdowns. Use live GPS navigation for every trip.
  • Real-Time Earnings Overview: Track earnings and dues instantly. Make payments easily through a secure in-app gateway.
  • Online/Offline Flexibility: Start or stop working anytime. When offline, you won't receive trip requests or notifications.
  • Driver Incentives: Earn bonuses and exclusive rewards for consistent service and successful rides.
  • Trip Alerts: Receive real-time updates on bid matches, trip start/end, cancellations, and rider confirmations.
  • Simple Account Controls: Log out or delete your account anytime, directly from the app.
  • Language Support: Switch instantly between Bangla and English for your convenience.
  • Emergency Access: In-app support center plus direct call access to emergency services (999).

3.2 Trip Management & History

  • View your current, upcoming, and past trips easily.
  • Access detailed trip histories and fare records anytime to monitor your performance and earnings.
  • Trip History: Access your complete history of past and canceled trips anytime within the app.
  • Smart Notifications: Get timely updates on ride status, driver arrival, fare offers, and more.

3.3 Pricing Transparency

  • Control your fare with AmarTrip's dynamic bidding system: propose your rate or accept rider offers.
  • Negotiate through multiple rounds to agree on a fair price.
  • Fares are finalized before trips start no last-minute haggling.
  • Fixed app charge: A predefined fee set by AmarTrip authority for each trip (e.g., BDT 29 local, BDT 129 intercity).
  • Toll charges are clearly defined based on trip type.

3.4 Safety & Profile Management

  • Upload all required documents before getting started: valid mobile number, driver photo, National ID, BRTA license, vehicle info (type, model, plate no., color, AC status), registration certificate, fitness certificate, tax token, and a clear 30-second video of the vehicle interior and exterior.
  • Vehicle must be at least one year old, with a clean driving record.
  • Optionally provide blood group, gender, emergency contact, and email for enhanced safety.
  • Verified passengers and drivers with secure profiles.
  • In-app chat and real-time location sharing maintain communication privacy.
  • Rider ratings help ensure quality experiences.

3.5 Account Control & Security

  • Manage your account easily with simple controls.
  • Secure payment gateway for all platform fees and dues.
  • Pay platform fees anytime to unlock new bids and ride requests.
  • Log Out: Securely log out from any device to protect your account.
  • Delete Account: Full control over your data delete your account anytime via the app.

3.6 Ratings & Support

  • Rate riders and get rated after every trip - good ratings increase your visibility and unlock more ride opportunities.
  • Fair usage policy includes rider late cancellation compensation and penalties for driver no-shows.
  • Clear guidelines for cancellations, bidding, and ratings ensure fairness for all users.
  • Dedicated Bangladesh-based support team available in Bangla and English to assist with any issues.

Legal Clause: By using AmarTrip Driver, you agree that AmarTrip is solely a facilitation platform connecting independent drivers and riders. AmarTrip does not own, operate, or control any vehicles or trips. All agreements, payments, and trip responsibilities rest directly between drivers and riders. AmarTrip is not liable for delays, accidents, disputes, or any personal property loss during trips.

Section 4 - Eligibility Requirements

At AmarTrip, drivers are the backbone of our service, playing a crucial role in delivering safe, reliable, and comfortable rides across Bangladesh. To maintain high standards of professionalism and ensure passenger safety, every driver must meet strict eligibility criteria and uphold specific responsibilities. These requirements help build trust with riders, protect AmarTrip's reputation, and guarantee quality service.

4.1 For Drivers

Valid Driving License

  • Every driver must hold a valid driving license issued by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
  • A valid BRTA license confirms the driver understands national traffic laws, has received proper training, and can navigate Bangladesh's diverse road conditions.

For example: Private car drivers must hold a Private Light Vehicle (PLV) license. Drivers of microbuses or commercial vehicles must possess the corresponding commercial license.

  • AmarTrip verifies all licenses directly through BRTA's official database.
  • Only drivers with verified, valid licenses will be approved.
  • Use of fake, forged, expired, or suspended licenses results in immediate disqualification or suspension.

National Identity Card (NID) Requirement

  • All drivers must submit a valid National Identity Card (NID) during registration for identity verification and legal compliance.
  • The NID confirms legal identity and Bangladeshi citizenship, helping prevent fraud and impersonation.
  • NIDs are cross-verified with other documents and information.
  • Applications with forged or tampered NIDs will be rejected or deactivated without prior notice.

Vehicle Ownership & Minimum Vehicle Age

  • Vehicles must be registered in the driver's name or have valid authorization if owned by someone else (e.g., family member or employer).
  • This ensures legal operation and prevents unauthorized vehicle use.
  • Vehicles must be at least one (1) year old to ensure reliability and a known service history.

Valid Vehicle Documentation

Drivers must maintain up-to-date vehicle documents, including:

  • Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC): Confirming legal registration. If the RC is not in the driver's name, proper authorization (e.g., written consent) must be provided.
  • Tax Token: Verifying payment of government taxes.
  • Certificate of Fitness: Confirming the vehicle's roadworthiness.
  • All documents must be clear, authentic, and untampered.
  • AmarTrip reserves the right to verify all documents and suspend or reject accounts for irregularities.

Vehicle Video Submission

Drivers must submit a recent 30-second video showing:

  • All four sides of the vehicle (front, back, left, right)
  • Interior including seats and dashboard
  • This video ensures vehicle quality and safety and helps riders feel confident in their choice.
  • Still images or outdated photos are not accepted.

Clean Driving Record

  • Drivers must maintain a clean driving record free from serious violations or criminal offenses.
  • Reckless driving, DUI, harassment, theft, or repeated traffic violations may lead to suspension or permanent bans.
  • Drivers must obey all traffic laws and treat passengers with respect.

Together, these requirements ensure AmarTrip drivers are qualified, trustworthy, and responsible - delivering a safe and professional ride-sharing experience.

4.2 Optional Information

While not mandatory, drivers are encouraged to provide optional details to enhance safety and service quality:

  • Blood Group: Helps emergency responders during critical situations.
  • Emergency Contact Number: Allows AmarTrip to notify a trusted person in case of emergencies.
  • Gender: Helps tailor services and support for driver comfort and safety.
  • Address: Assists in identity verification or dispute resolution.

Section 5- Comprehensive Services Offered by AmarTrip

At AmarTrip, we understand that every driver and rider has unique needs. That's why our platform offers a wide range of services designed for flexibility, convenience, and earning potential. Whether you prefer instant trips, scheduled rides, bidding negotiations, or hourly rentals, AmarTrip supports you in providing excellent service nationwide.

5.1 Platform Access

  • AmarTrip grants you a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable right to use the AmarTrip Driver app to connect with riders.
  • We do not guarantee the number or frequency of trip requests you will receive. Availability depends on demand and your online status.

5.2 Supported Trip Types

  • Instant Rides: Accept real-time ride requests from nearby riders for immediate trips.
  • Scheduled Trips: Accept rides booked up to 2 days in advance to help riders plan ahead.
  • Bidding Trips: Participate in fare negotiations with riders through a dynamic multi-round bidding system.
  • Hourly Rentals: Provide dedicated service for 4, 8, or 10 hours within the city, allowing multiple stops.
  • Station Trips: Offer rides to and from major bus terminals, train stations, and ferry terminals.
  • Airport Transfers: Provide timely pick-up and drop-off services for major airports, with real-time flight updates for smooth coordination.

5.3 Fare Determination

  • Instant and Scheduled Rides: Fare is either set by AmarTrip or pre-agreed with the rider before the trip begins.
  • Bidding Trips: Fare is decided through in-app negotiation and locked in before the trip starts no fare changes after that.

5.4 Prohibited Practices

To maintain fairness, transparency, and safety, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Soliciting riders for rides outside the AmarTrip platform.
  • Accepting payments outside the app for trips sourced through AmarTrip.
  • Canceling accepted trips solely to renegotiate fares.

Legal Clause: AmarTrip facilitates connection and coordination between riders and independent drivers but does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or safety of any ride. These responsibilities rest solely with the driver providing the service.

Section 6 - Bidding Process

At AmarTrip, our flexible bidding system empowers you to control your fares and pick trips that best fit your schedule and earnings goals.

6.1 Bidding Window Duration

  • When a rider proposes a fare, the bidding window stays open for 15 minutes.
  • During this time, you can accept rider offers or send counteroffers and negotiate multiple times.
  • Riders review all offers and select their preferred driver within this window.
  • If no driver responds in 15 minutes, the rider may revise the fare or cancel the request.
  • Once the window closes, the rider must either accept an offer, revise the fare, or cancel to proceed.

This ensures quick, transparent fare negotiation with minimal waiting.

6.2 How the Bidding System Works

  • Rider-Initiated Fare Proposal: Riders propose a fare or send a request without fare to receive offers from drivers.
  • Driver Offer & Counter-Offer: You submit fare offers based on distance, trip time, fuel/tolls, traffic, and other costs.
  • Multi-Round Negotiation: You and the rider negotiate until a fare agreement is reached.
  • Final Fare Confirmation: Once the rider accepts, the fare is locked—no changes or haggling after confirmation.

6.3 Driver Bidding Flexibility

  • You can place multiple bids at the same time for local and intercity trips.
  • This lets you maximize opportunities, choose trips that fit your location and timing, and increase your earnings.
  • For example, you can bid on a local ride from Mohammadpur to Banani and simultaneously on an intercity trip from Dhaka to Narayanganj.
  • If one trip is accepted, you can cancel other bids that no longer fit your schedule.

This flexibility helps you stay active during peak hours and in high-demand areas.

6.4 Vehicle Type Bidding Eligibility

To ensure comfort and safety, only certain vehicle types can bid on appropriate trips:

  • 4-Seater Trips: Drivers with 4-, 7-, or 10-seater vehicles can bid.
  • 7-Seater Trips: Only drivers with 7- or 10-seater vehicles can bid.
  • 10-Seater Trips: Only drivers with 10-seater vehicles can bid.

This ensures riders get the right vehicle size and you avoid unsuitable requests.

6.5 Driver Notifications During Active Trips

  • While on an active trip, you will not receive new trip notifications that overlap your current trip’s time slot.
  • For example, if your trip is from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM, you won’t get new requests starting in that period to keep your focus on the current rider.
  • You will receive notifications for trips starting after your active trip ends, helping you plan ahead and maximize your work.

This system prevents overlapping trips, reduces driver stress, and ensures smooth service for riders.

Section 7 – Payments & Fees

7.1 Payment Method

AmarTrip drivers and riders handle all trip payments directly, which means we do not handle or process any cash or digital payment between you and the rider. The most common payment methods include:

  • Cash: Riders pay you the agreed-upon cash amount at the end of the trip.
  • Digital Payments: Riders may pay you directly using mobile financial services like bKash, Nagad, or bank transfers.

Note: AmarTrip does not handle these payments. Both parties are responsible for the security and completion of these transactions.

7.2 No Offline or Unauthorized Payments

All bookings and payments must be made through the AmarTrip platform. Offline or outside-app payments are prohibited to protect everyone and ensure customer support can assist if needed.

7.3 Toll Payments

  • Intercity Trips: Drivers pay all toll fees during the trip (e.g., Dhaka to Sylhet).
  • Local Trips: Riders pay toll fees within the city (e.g., Dhaka city routes).

This clear division helps avoid confusion about who pays what.

7.4 Rider Compensation & Driver No-Show Policy

  • Rider Waiting Period: Riders should wait a maximum of 1 hour from the scheduled pickup time to allow for minor delays.
  • Driver Penalty for No-Show: If you fail to arrive within 1 hour of the scheduled pickup, AmarTrip may apply a penalty to encourage punctuality. Penalties vary (e.g., BDT 29 for local trips).

7.5 App Charges (Platform Usage Fee)

AmarTrip charges a fixed, transparent fee for using the platform, not a percentage-based commission:

  • Local Trips: BDT 29 per completed trip
  • Intercity Trips: BDT 129 per completed trip

These charges support app maintenance, customer support, and ongoing service improvements.

7.6 Payment Obligations & Driver Eligibility

  • You must clear all outstanding app charges before bidding on or accepting new trips.
  • AmarTrip provides real-time tracking of your dues in the driver app, helping you stay up-to-date and avoid restrictions.

7.7 Driver Payment Rules & Restrictions

  • No Fixed Payment Deadline: You can pay app charges at your convenience but must clear dues before new bids or trips.
  • Bidding Suspension for Unpaid Dues: Drivers with unpaid charges will be temporarily blocked from bidding or accepting new trips until dues are settled.

7.8 Legal Disclaimer

  • AmarTrip is not responsible for payment disputes, delays, or losses arising from transactions directly between riders and drivers.
  • All payments (cash or other methods) are transactions solely between the rider and driver.

Users agree to resolve payment issues amongst themselves.

Section 8 – Scheduled and Instant Trips

8.1 Scheduled Trip Flexibility

  • You can arrive up to 15 minutes before a scheduled trip.
  • If the rider isn’t ready, wait until the exact scheduled start time before beginning the trip.

This flexibility helps reduce waiting times and lets you manage your schedule more efficiently, especially if you have multiple trips planned.

Example: If a trip is scheduled for 10:00 AM and you arrive at 9:45 AM, you can start the trip immediately if the rider is ready. If not, wait until 10:00 AM.

8.2 Instant Trip Flexibility

  • Instant trips start as soon as a nearby driver is available — there’s no fixed start time.
  • When a rider requests an instant trip, the closest available driver receives the notification to pick up the rider right away.

This system ensures quick service for riders needing immediate rides and helps you manage multiple requests efficiently.

Legal Disclaimer: AmarTrip strives to support timely trips, but is not responsible for delays caused by rider readiness, traffic, or other factors outside its control. Trip start times and durations may vary due to real-world conditions.

Section 9 – Cancellation & No-Show Policy

9.1 Trip Cancellation (before payment)

  • By the Rider: A rider can cancel a trip anytime before confirming the fare. After fare confirmation, the rider must contact support to cancel and may incur a penalty.
  • By the Driver: You can cancel a trip anytime before paying the app charge. After paying the charge, you must contact AmarTrip support for help instead of canceling. This keeps the rider’s trip smooth and professional.

9.2 Driver No-Show Policy

  • Penalty for No-Show: If you fail to arrive at the pickup point within 1 hour of the scheduled start, you will face a penalty.
  • Rider Compensation: When a no-show occurs, the rider can claim a fixed compensation amount via the AmarTrip app.
  • Why Penalties and Compensation?: These policies maintain trust by encouraging drivers to fulfill their trips and protecting riders from inconvenience.

9.3 Ride Cancellation After Driver Has Paid App Charges

If a rider cancels after you have already paid the app charges, refunds are not automatic. You can contact AmarTrip support to request a review.

Section 10 – Account Online/Offline, Logout, Deactivation, and Deletion

At AmarTrip, you have full control over your account with options to go offline, log out temporarily, or permanently deactivate/delete your account.

10.1 In-App Online/Offline Status

  • Go Offline Anytime: As a driver, you can switch to offline mode whenever you want.
  • Offline Restrictions: While offline, you won’t receive bid notifications or be able to accept trips or use other trip-related features.
  • Go Online Anytime: When you go back online, you’ll regain full access to bids, trip functions, and notifications.

10.2 Account Logout (Temporary)

You can log out anytime without affecting your active bookings or saved data.

How to Log Out:

  1. Open the AmarTrip app.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Logout.
  3. Confirm your logout.

Logging out simply signs you out but keeps your account and trip history safe.

10.3 Account Deactivation or Deletion (Permanent)

To permanently deactivate or delete your account, submit a request via the in-app support or email support@amartrip.com.

10.4 What Happens After Deletion?

  • You lose all access to your account and trip history.
  • Your profile and data will be removed from the app.
  • Deletion is irreversible.

10.5 Reasons for Delay or Denial

Your request may be delayed or declined if:

  • Your account is part of an active dispute, complaint, or claim;
  • There is an ongoing investigation involving your account; or
  • Law or regulation requires data retention.

10.6 Legal Disclaimer

By requesting deletion or deactivation, you acknowledge it is permanent and irreversible except where law requires data retention. AmarTrip is not liable for any loss of data, content, or access resulting from your request.

Section 11 – Rating System & Consequences

At AmarTrip, the rating system is important for keeping everyone accountable and ensuring quality service. Both drivers and riders rate each other after every trip, which helps build trust and maintain high standards across the platform.

11.1 Driver Starting Points

When you join AmarTrip as a new driver, you start with a neutral rating of 5 stars. This gives you a fair chance to build your reputation based on your trip performance. Your rating will go up or down depending on the feedback you receive.

11.2 Rating & Trip Opportunities

  • Higher Rating: Drivers with higher ratings (e.g., 4.7 stars and above) get more visibility to riders and more trip requests.
  • Lower Rating: A low rating can reduce your trip opportunities and, if it falls below a certain point, can lead to warnings or account restrictions.

11.3 How to Maintain a Good Rating

  • Always be punctual, friendly, and professional.
  • Keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained.
  • Follow all traffic rules and drive safely.
  • Ensure you confirm trip details and follow the agreed-upon route.

11.4 Penalties for Poor Ratings

Based on our community standards, a poor rating can lead to:

  • Temporary Suspension: Repeated poor ratings can lead to a temporary account suspension, lasting from a few hours up to several days.
  • Permanent Termination: Serious or repeated violations of community standards can result in permanent removal from AmarTrip.

11.5 Why This Matters

These policies protect the whole AmarTrip community by making sure everyone acts responsibly and maintains high service standards. Your rating directly affects your ability to use the platform, so maintaining a good rating benefits you and your passengers.

11.6 Legal Disclaimer

AmarTrip reserves the right to modify, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts based on rating performance and community standards. Users agree that AmarTrip is not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from rating-related penalties or account actions.

Section 12 – Lost & Found Policy

At AmarTrip, we understand losing personal belongings during a trip can be frustrating. While we do our best to help recover lost items, drivers and riders are primarily responsible for their belongings.

12.1 Driver Responsibilities

  • Report Found Items: If you find any lost item, promptly notify AmarTrip support or contact the rider directly to arrange return.
  • Safe Storage: Keep found items securely until the rider collects them or AmarTrip support gives further instructions.
  • Prompt Communication: Respond quickly and professionally if a rider reaches out about lost belongings to maintain trust and good service.

Important: If a driver finds lost items but fails to return them, the driver is fully responsible for that negligence. In case of rider complaints or legal actions (including police reports), the driver will be held accountable. AmarTrip can provide trip and contact details to assist with recovery when necessary.

12.2 What AmarTrip Can & Cannot Do

Please note:

  • AmarTrip will assist in connecting you with riders who report lost items to facilitate communication and return.
  • However, AmarTrip cannot guarantee that lost items will be recovered or returned.
  • AmarTrip cannot compel drivers to return any found belongings.
  • The condition and security of returned items are not AmarTrip's responsibility.

Section 13 – Liability, Disclaimers, and Indemnification

13.1 AmarTrip’s Role

AmarTrip is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers like you. We do not:

  • Own, lease, or operate vehicles;
  • Employ or control drivers;
  • Provide transportation or courier services;
  • Manage what happens inside vehicles; or
  • Insure or take responsibility for passengers’ belongings.

Our role is to help with booking, payment, and communication. Any issues during trips, like lost items or fare disputes, should be settled directly between you and the rider.

13.2 Disclaimers

AmarTrip does not guarantee or promise:

  • The availability, timing, safety, or quality of any ride;
  • Recovery or protection of lost personal items;
  • Driver behavior, conduct, or routes taken;
  • Perfect, uninterrupted, or virus-free operation of the app; or
  • Outcomes of any disputes or interactions between riders and drivers.

You use AmarTrip services “as is” and at your own risk.

13.3 Limitation of Liability

AmarTrip is not liable for indirect damages, including:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities;
  • Delays, accidents, or injuries during a trip;
  • Disputes between riders and drivers;
  • Issues from third-party services linked to AmarTrip.

Maximum Liability: AmarTrip’s total liability for any claim won’t exceed what you paid to use the service in the past 12 months.

13.4 Local Consumer Rights

Where local laws protect consumers, AmarTrip respects those rights. Nothing here limits your legal protections.

13.5 Indemnification – Your Responsibility

As a driver, you agree to protect AmarTrip and its team from any claims or losses related to:

  • Your actions during trips;
  • How you use the AmarTrip app or services;
  • Your dealings or disputes with riders or others;
  • Violations of these Terms or laws;
  • Any harm caused to third parties due to your actions.

13.6 Important Legal Points

  • Independent Contractor: You are an independent driver, not an AmarTrip employee.
  • No Vehicle Ownership: AmarTrip does not own or manage your vehicle.
  • Your Responsibility: You are fully responsible for your actions and belongings during trips.

Section 14 – Trip Monitoring & Safety Features

At AmarTrip, your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities. We have built-in tools and features to help keep every trip secure, transparent, and smooth for both drivers and riders.

14.1 Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)

Knowing when you need to be ready and how long a trip will take helps keep things on track. AmarTrip provides real-time tracking and ETA updates so you and your rider stay informed throughout the trip.

  • Real-time Tracking: Riders can see your estimated arrival time at the pickup point and destination.
  • Buffer for Accuracy: To account for traffic or unexpected delays, AmarTrip adds a 5–10 minute buffer to ETAs.

14.2 Emergency Button

Your safety matters. The AmarTrip app includes a built-in Emergency button that allows you to instantly contact emergency services (999 in Bangladesh).

14.3 Trip Insurance (Coming Soon)

This feature is currently under development and will offer coverage for medical expenses or vehicle damages during a trip. Full details will be shared at launch.

Section 15 – Drivers Responsibilities

As an AmarTrip driver, you are essential to delivering a safe, reliable, and professional ride experience. Your commitment to these responsibilities helps build trust and maintain high standards throughout the AmarTrip community.

15.1 Professional Conduct

  • Always treat riders with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Maintain a polite and helpful attitude, even during challenging situations.
  • Follow all local traffic laws and regulations strictly.
  • Wear AmarTrip identification if provided, to help riders easily recognize you.
  • Stick to the route shown in the app unless the rider requests a valid alternate route mutually agreed upon.

15.2 Vehicle Condition

  • Keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are up-to-date.

15.3 Punctuality

  • Arrive at pickup locations on time, ideally 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time for booked rides.
  • Notify riders promptly if you expect any delays.
  • Use the app’s real-time tracking and ETA features to stay informed and keep riders updated.

15.4 Accurate Trip Management

  • Confirm pickup and drop-off locations with riders before starting the trip.
  • Use the AmarTrip app for trip recording and management to avoid disputes.
  • Avoid unnecessary trip cancellations and follow the platform’s cancellation policy.

15.5 Safety First

  • Prioritize the safety of yourself, your passengers, and others on the road.
  • Avoid reckless driving, speeding, or any unsafe behavior.
  • Use the app’s emergency button immediately if any safety issues or emergencies arise during a trip.

15.6 Communication

  • Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with riders.
  • Respond promptly to messages or calls received through the app.
  • Address any rider concerns professionally.

15.7 Compliance with Laws & Platform Policies

  • Follow all AmarTrip policies, terms of service, and applicable local laws and regulations.
  • Cooperate fully with AmarTrip during any investigations or dispute resolutions.
  • Keep your AmarTrip profile and documents current and accurate.

15.8 Prohibition of Harassment & Offline Deals

  • Refrain from any form of harassment, disrespectful behavior, or unprofessional conduct toward riders.
  • Do not engage in offline deals, transactions, or communications outside the AmarTrip app.
  • All trips and payments must be processed exclusively through the AmarTrip platform for safety and transparency.

15.9 Fare Payment

  • Ensure all payments are collected according to the fare agreed upon and confirmed through the AmarTrip bidding process.
  • Do not demand additional payments outside the platform’s payment system.

Legal Clause: Drivers are independent contractors and not employees of AmarTrip. AmarTrip is not responsible for any driver actions.

Section 16 - Prohibited Driver Behavior

To ensure a safe and trustworthy environment, AmarTrip has a zero-tolerance policy against certain activities and behaviors.

16.1 No Offline Trips or Cash Deals

  • All trips must be booked, paid for, and managed only through the AmarTrip app.
  • Arranging rides or payments outside the app—especially cash deals or offline transactions—is not allowed.

Offline deals bypass the platform’s safety, payment security, and dispute resolution protections, putting everyone at risk.

Example: Accepting a ride booked and paid for directly by a rider outside the app violates AmarTrip’s policies.

16.2 No Account Sharing

  • Your AmarTrip driver account is personal and for your exclusive use only.
  • Sharing your login details with anyone else—including family or friends—is prohibited.

Account sharing compromises security, can lead to misuse, and makes it difficult to track actions or resolve disputes.

Example: Letting someone else drive using your AmarTrip account is against the rules and can lead to serious consequences.

16.3 No Third-Party App Manipulation

Using any external software, tools, or apps to manipulate AmarTrip's system is strictly forbidden.

Section 17 – Suspension & Termination of Accounts

At AmarTrip, we strive to maintain a safe, fair, and trustworthy platform for all users. To protect this environment, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts when necessary.

17.1 When Can Your Account Be Suspended or Terminated?

Repeated Violations

If a driver repeatedly breaks AmarTrip’s rules or local laws, AmarTrip may take action—starting with temporary suspension and, if problems continue, permanent termination.

Examples: Frequently canceling trips without valid reasons. Ignoring warnings about unsafe driving or misconduct.

Serious Offenses

Some actions are so serious that they lead to immediate permanent termination, without warnings. These offenses threaten rider safety or the platform’s integrity.

Examples: Fraudulent behavior, harassment, transporting illegal goods.

At AmarTrip, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information while you use our services.

18.1 What Data We Collect

To provide you with a smooth driving experience and improve our service, we collect some important information, including:

  • Location Information: We collect your GPS location to help connect you with riders nearby.
  • Contact Information: We collect your name and mobile number so you can communicate with riders.
  • Driver & Vehicle Information: Details like license, NID, vehicle documents to ensure safety and compliance.

18.2 How We Use Your Information

  • To provide & manage rides.
  • To verify identity & compliance.
  • To process earnings.
  • To communicate with you.
  • To maintain safety & security.
  • To improve the Driver App.

18.3 How We Protect Your Data

We use strong technical and administrative safeguards like encryption, firewalls, and secure servers to protect your information.

18.4 Your Control Over Data

You can view, update, or delete your personal information anytime through the app’s privacy settings.

18.5 Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide services or meet legal requirements.

If you ever have a dispute or complaint, start with in-app support. Our team will work with you to find a fair solution.

19.2 Binding Arbitration

For unresolved disputes, you and AmarTrip agree to binding arbitration in Bangladesh. This decision is final and binding.

19.3 Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Legal matters will be handled by courts in Bangladesh.

To ensure safe, legal, and efficient ride-sharing services, Amar Trip collects the following categories of information:

a. Personal Information

When you register as a driver, you provide:

Mandatory: Full Name, Mobile Number, Profile Photo

Optional: Email, Gender, Emergency Contact Number & Blood Group (for emergency response if needed)

b. Driver & Vehicle Information

  • Vehicle details (Make, Model, Color, Registration Number, Chassis Number)
  • Vehicle registration documents, insurance papers, tax token, and fitness certificate
  • Driving license and National ID (for verification and BRTA compliance)

c. Location Data

  • Real-time GPS location while the app is running — for assigning rides, navigation, and route accuracy
  • Pickup & drop-off points, trip route history, and completed trip records for safety monitoring, payment calculation, and dispute resolution

d. Device & Log Information

  • Device identifiers (Device ID, advertising ID)
  • App usage logs, crash reports, and performance data to improve service reliability

e. Payment & Earnings Information

  • Mobile financial service details (e.g., bKash, Nagad) for processing payouts and app platform charges
  • Trip fare records, incentives, and app charge deductions

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Provide & Manage Rides – Match you with riders, navigate optimal routes, and ensure trip completion tracking.
  • Verify Identity & Compliance – Ensure you and your vehicle meet legal and safety requirements.
  • Process Earnings – Calculate fares, apply platform fees, and send your payouts.
  • Communicate with You – Send ride requests, payment updates, safety alerts, and policy changes.
  • Maintain Safety & Security – Investigate disputes, monitor ride safety, and take action against fraud or misconduct.
  • Improve the Driver App – Resolve technical issues, optimize app performance, and introduce driver-friendly features.
  • Meet Legal Obligations – Fulfil BRTA requirements, respond to legal requests, and comply with applicable laws.

3. Permissions We Request

To operate the driver app effectively, we need access to certain phone features:

  • Location – To detect your availability for rides, provide navigation, and track trips in real time.
  • Camera – To capture your profile photo and upload required verification documents.
  • Storage – To upload saved photos or scanned documents from your device.
  • Phone State – To help the app run properly while a ride is in progress.
  • Notifications – To alert you about incoming ride requests, rider messages, and earnings updates.
  • Phone Call Access – To allow you to contact riders or receive calls related to trips.

4. How We Store & Protect Driver Data

We apply strong security measures, including:

  • Data stored on secure servers with restricted access
  • Encryption during transfer and storage of sensitive details
  • Firewalls and intrusion prevention systems

5. When Driver Data is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only when necessary:

  • With Riders – Limited details (e.g., name, profile photo, phone number) to coordinate pickups.
  • With Service Providers – For secure payment processing, cloud storage, and technical support.
  • For Legal Compliance – When required by law enforcement, BRTA, or court orders.

6. Your Rights as a Driver

You can:

  • Access – Request a copy of the personal data we hold.
  • Correct – Update or fix inaccurate information.
  • Delete – Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention rules).
  • Withdraw Consent – Stop certain data processing (note: may affect app functionality).
