AmarTrip is a technology-driven ride-sharing platform designed to connect independent drivers with riders across Bangladesh. Our mission is to create a flexible, transparent, and rider-friendly transportation ecosystem where both parties enjoy fair opportunities, reliable service, and complete control over their trip experience.

We do not operate as a transport service provider, own vehicles, or employ drivers directly. Instead, AmarTrip functions as a neutral digital marketplace—facilitating trip requests, fare negotiations, and secure connections between riders and drivers.

All trip arrangements, agreements, and payments are made directly between users. At AmarTrip, we believe that every journey should begin with confidence and reliability. When you open the AmarTrip application, you connect to a network of independent and verified drivers who are available to transport you safely to your desired destination.

Our platform is built upon three core principles: trust, transparency, and technology.

Legal Clause: By booking or requesting a ride through AmarTrip, you expressly acknowledge and agree that AmarTrip solely facilitates the connection between riders and independent drivers.

AmarTrip does not own, operate, manage, or control any vehicles. All transportation services are provided under a private and direct agreement between the rider and the driver.

Section 2 –Connecting Passengers and Drivers Seamlessly

AmarTrip is designed to reduce the uncertainty and inconvenience traditionally associated with finding transportation. The Platform eliminates the need for roadside negotiations and manual searching by enabling fast, secure, and convenient ride coordination directly within the application.

2.1 How Matching Works

For instant trips, nearby drivers receive the request along with the suggested fare and may accept the trip immediately.

For intercity, reserved, or hourly trips, drivers may review the request and either accept the proposed fare or submit counter-offers. Riders and drivers may negotiate fares multiple times until a mutual agreement is reached.

For intercity trips, riders may select their preferred driver from available options. Once confirmed, the assigned driver proceeds to the pickup location.

2.2 Communication

Legal Clause: AmarTrip does not guarantee that every trip request will result in a successful driver match. Driver availability depends on location, demand, and each driver’s independent decision to accept or decline a request.

Section 3 –Using the AmarTrip Mobile Application

AmarTrip provides one of Bangladesh's most flexible and rider-friendly ride-sharing platforms, accessible across all 64 districts. Whether you require an immediate local ride, intercity transportation, or the ability to negotiate fares directly with drivers, the AmarTrip mobile application is designed to offer users maximum choice, transparency, convenience, and safety.

3.1 Core Features for Riders

Instant Rides

Book a ride in real time and be matched quickly with nearby available drivers for immediate pickup.

Scheduled Trips

Pre-book rides from 30 minutes up to 48 hours in advance, allowing better planning and convenience.

Fare Suggestions

Estimated fares may be automatically generated based on total distance, estimated arrival time, drop-off time, and applicable base fare calculations.

Fare Bidding & Negotiation

For intercity, reserved, and hourly trips, riders may propose their preferred fare and negotiate with multiple drivers through one or more bidding rounds. This process promotes fair, transparent pricing with no hidden fees.

Hourly Rentals

Hire a vehicle for 1 to 12 hours, suitable for errands, business needs, meetings, or city exploration.

Local Trips

Affordable and convenient transportation within city limits.

Intercity Travel

Seamless travel between cities, including routes such as Dhaka–Chattogram, Sylhet–Moulvibazar, and other destinations across Bangladesh.

3.2 Trip Management & History

Trip History

Users may access a complete record of past, ongoing, and canceled trips at any time within the application.

Smart Notifications

Receive real-time updates regarding ride status, driver arrival time, fare offers, trip progress, and other important alerts.

End Trip Option

Riders may manually end a trip upon reaching their destination to ensure accurate fare calculation and billing.

3.3 Pricing Transparency

AmarTrip is committed to transparent pricing practices:

Any fare agreed upon through the bidding or confirmation process represents the final payable amount.

Where applicable, AmarTrip may provide compensation or support in cases of significant delays or driver no-shows, subject to Platform policies.

3.4 Safety & Profile Management

Profile Information

Users may create and update their profiles with essential information such as name, mobile number, total trips, and rating. Riders may optionally provide additional details including blood group, gender, emergency contact information, email address, and residential address to enhance safety and support services.

Emergency Button

An in-app emergency feature allows riders to instantly contact national emergency services (999) or the AmarTrip Help Center during any trip.

Live Tracking

Real-time GPS tracking enables users to monitor vehicle movement throughout the trip.

In-App Chat

Secure in-app messaging allows communication with drivers without revealing personal phone numbers.

Language Support

The application supports both Bangla and English for user convenience.

User-Friendly Interface

The Platform is designed to be simple, intuitive, and accessible for users of all ages, with full local language support.

3.5 Account Control & Security

Log Out

Users may securely log out from any device to protect their account information.

Delete Account

Users retain full control over their personal data and may permanently delete their account at any time through the application settings.

3.6 Ratings & Support

Ratings & Reviews

Riders may rate and review drivers after each trip to maintain service quality, accountability, and community trust.

Customer Support

Dedicated customer support services are available in Bangla and English to assist users with inquiries, complaints, or technical issues.

Legal Clause: You are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your account credentials and personal information. AmarTrip shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, misuse, or loss resulting from your negligence or failure to safeguard your account.

Section 4 – Eligibility Requirements

At AmarTrip, ensuring a safe, secure, and reliable environment for all users is a top priority. To maintain service integrity and legal compliance, all users must satisfy the following eligibility requirements before accessing or using the Platform.

These requirements are intended to promote accountability, protect passengers and drivers, and foster trust within the AmarTrip community.

4.1 For Riders

To create a secure and trustworthy environment, riders must meet the following conditions before booking or using any services through the AmarTrip mobile application:

Age Requirement

Riders must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to independently use AmarTrip services. This minimum age aligns with the legal age of majority in Bangladesh and ensures the user has the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

AmarTrip reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if a rider is found to have misrepresented their age.

Valid Mobile Number

Each rider must register using a valid and active mobile phone number. This requirement is necessary for:

Riders are responsible for maintaining an accessible and operational registered mobile number. Providing false, inaccurate, or inactive contact information may result in account restriction or suspension.

4.2 Optional Information

While not mandatory, riders are encouraged to provide certain optional details to enhance safety and service quality. Such information will be collected and processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and used solely for legitimate operational purposes.

Blood Group

May assist emergency responders during medical emergencies.

Emergency Contact Number

Allows AmarTrip to notify a trusted individual in case of emergency during a trip.

Gender

Helps improve personalized services and rider comfort.

Address

May assist with identity verification, dispute resolution, or customer support.

Section 5 – Comprehensive Services Offered by AmarTrip

At AmarTrip, we recognize that transportation needs vary based on purpose, timing, and individual preferences. To address these diverse requirements, the Platform offers a broad range of flexible and reliable ride solutions.

Whether users require immediate local transportation, pre-planned travel, or flexible fare arrangements, AmarTrip provides multiple service options designed to accommodate different journey types.

5.1 Instant Rides

Instant Rides allow riders to request and book trips immediately through the AmarTrip mobile application.

This real-time booking feature connects riders with nearby available drivers for prompt pickup without the need for advance scheduling.

5.2 Scheduled Trips

Scheduled Trips enable riders to reserve transportation in advance, from thirty (30) minutes up to forty-eight (48) hours before the intended travel time.

This service is designed to help riders plan ahead and ensure timely arrival for appointments, events, or other commitments.

5.3 Bidding Trips & Multi-Round Negotiation

The bidding system allows riders to propose a suggested fare for their trip. Nearby drivers may then submit offers or counter-offers based on their availability and operating considerations.

This dynamic negotiation process may involve multiple rounds of discussion until both the rider and driver mutually agree on a fair and acceptable price, promoting transparency, flexibility, and competitive pricing.

5.4 Hourly Rentals

Hourly Rentals provide riders with a dedicated vehicle for a fixed duration ranging from one (1) hour to twelve (12) hours.

During this period, riders may make multiple stops within the city as needed. Fares are negotiated based on time and service requirements rather than fixed distance, offering greater flexibility for extended or multi-stop trips.

5.5 Station Trips

Station Trips facilitate transportation to and from major transit hubs, including bus terminals, railway stations, and ferry terminals.

Riders may book these trips instantly or schedule them in advance. Fare agreements are determined through the standard bidding or confirmation process available on the Platform.

5.6 Airport Trips

Airport Trips provide convenient and timely pickup and drop-off services to and from airports.

Riders may choose either instant or scheduled bookings. Where available, real-time trip coordination helps drivers accommodate minor delays and ensure punctual arrivals.

Legal Clause: While AmarTrip facilitates access to these services through its digital platform, the actual transportation service—including quality, timeliness, conduct, and safety—remains the sole responsibility of the independent driver providing the service. AmarTrip assumes no liability for the performance or outcome of any trip.

Section 6 – Bidding Process

The AmarTrip bidding system is designed to provide riders and drivers with flexibility and fairness when determining fares for certain trip types, particularly intercity, reserved, and hourly services.

6.1 Bidding Window Duration

To ensure a timely and efficient negotiation process:

If no driver responds within fifteen (15) minutes:

Before the bidding closes, riders must either accept an offer, revise the fare, or cancel the request in order to proceed.

6.2 How the Bidding System Works

Rider-Initiated Fare Proposal

The rider creates a trip request by entering pickup and drop-off locations, and for reserved trips, specifying the date and time. The Platform may provide an estimated fare suggestion based on trip details. Nearby drivers receive the request along with the suggested fare.

Driver Offers & Counter-Offers

Drivers may submit fare offers or counter-offers after considering distance, estimated duration, fuel or toll costs, traffic conditions, and other operational factors.

Multi-Round Negotiation

Riders and drivers may negotiate back and forth through multiple rounds until a mutually acceptable fare is agreed upon.

Final Fare Confirmation

Once both parties agree, the fare becomes final and locked. The rider confirms the selected driver, and the trip is officially booked. No hidden fees, additional charges, or renegotiations are permitted after confirmation.

6.3 Rider Bidding Limitations

To maintain fairness, system stability, and prevent misuse:

This limitation prevents system congestion and ensures drivers are not overwhelmed by multiple simultaneous requests.

6.4 Rider Waiting Period

For scheduled trips, riders are advised to allow a reasonable waiting period of up to one (1) hour from the scheduled start time for the assigned driver to arrive.

This buffer accounts for potential traffic or operational delays while ensuring that waiting times remain reasonable and manageable.

Section 7 – Payments

AmarTrip is committed to maintaining a transparent and flexible payment structure that enables riders and drivers to settle fares conveniently while clearly defining responsibilities between both parties. AmarTrip's role is limited to facilitating fare suggestions and trip coordination through the Platform and does not extend to processing or guaranteeing payments unless otherwise explicitly stated.

7.1 Fare Estimation and Final Fare Determination

Before submitting a trip request, riders may receive an estimated fare generated by the Platform. This estimate is provided solely for informational and reference purposes and does not constitute a final or binding price.

Upon completion of the trip, the final fare shall be calculated based on:

The final payable amount may vary from the initial estimate due to traffic conditions, route deviations, waiting time, or other operational factors.

7.2 Fare Agreement for Intercity and Reserved Trips

For intercity and reserved trips, a Fare Agreement is an essential component of the booking process and is intended to promote clarity and fairness between riders and drivers.

Before the trip begins:

This advance agreement helps prevent disputes, misunderstandings, or unexpected charges during or after the trip.

7.3 Payment Methods

AmarTrip offers flexible payment options to maximize convenience while maintaining transparency. All payments must be settled promptly upon completion of the trip.

Cash Payment After Trip Completion

Primary Payment Method: Riders may pay drivers directly in cash immediately after the trip ends. This remains the standard and most widely accepted payment method.

Timing: Payment should be completed before the rider exits the vehicle to avoid misunderstandings or disputes.

Fare Confirmation: The fare should be agreed upon in advance through the Platform’s bidding system or mutual negotiation.

Mutually Agreed Payment Options

Alternative Methods: Riders and drivers may agree to alternative payment methods, including mobile financial services, digital wallets, or bank transfers.

Mutual Consent: Any non-cash payment method must be clearly agreed upon by both parties prior to the start of the trip.

User Responsibility: AmarTrip does not process, manage, or guarantee the security of payments made outside the Platform. Riders and drivers assume full responsibility for the safety, completion, and verification of such transactions.

7.4 Road, Toll, and Ancillary Charges

Responsibility for road-related charges incurred during a trip shall be allocated between the rider and driver as follows:

For the avoidance of doubt, fuel, maintenance, and vehicle operating costs are solely the responsibility of the driver and shall not be charged separately to the rider under any circumstances.

All applicable charges should be clearly communicated and mutually understood between the rider and driver prior to or during the trip to avoid disputes.

7.5 Rider Compensation for Driver No-Show

If a driver fails to arrive within one (1) hour of the scheduled pickup time, the rider may be eligible to submit a compensation request through the AmarTrip application.

Legal Disclaimer (Compensation): Any compensation provided by AmarTrip is discretionary and offered as a goodwill gesture only. Such compensation does not constitute an admission of fault or liability. AmarTrip shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from driver delays or no-shows.

7.6 Legal Disclaimer

AmarTrip expressly disclaims any liability arising from payment-related disputes, delays, failures, or losses resulting from transactions conducted directly between riders and drivers.

While AmarTrip facilitates ride matching, fare suggestions, and negotiation tools through the Platform:

Section 8 – Trip Timing Guidelines

Adherence to trip timing guidelines helps ensure a smooth, efficient, and reliable experience for both riders and drivers. These guidelines are intended to minimize delays, improve coordination, and reduce misunderstandings for both scheduled and instant trips.

8.1 Scheduled Trip Start Time

For trips booked in advance, drivers may arrive at the pickup location before the scheduled start time and may begin the trip up to fifteen (15) minutes early, provided that the rider is present and ready to depart.

If the rider is not ready, the driver will wait until the scheduled start time before commencing the trip.

This flexibility is intended to reduce unnecessary waiting, improve punctuality, and support efficient time management for both parties.

8.2 Instant Trip Flexibility

Instant trips operate on an on-demand basis and do not have a fixed start time.

Upon submitting an instant ride request, the Platform notifies the nearest available drivers. Once a driver accepts the request, pickup is expected as soon as reasonably possible.

This system allows riders to access quick transportation for urgent needs while enabling drivers to efficiently manage availability and multiple requests.

Legal Disclaimer: While AmarTrip endeavors to facilitate timely trip coordination, it does not guarantee exact pickup or arrival times. AmarTrip shall not be liable for delays or disruptions resulting from: Rider readiness or late arrival, Driver availability, Traffic congestion, Weather conditions, Road restrictions, Mechanical issues, Or any other circumstances beyond AmarTrip’s reasonable control.

Actual trip start times and durations may vary due to real-world operational conditions.

Section 9 – Cancellations & No-Shows Policy

AmarTrip is committed to maintaining fairness, reliability, and accountability for both riders and drivers. While occasional cancellations may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, frequent or unnecessary cancellations disrupt service availability and negatively impact other users.

To ensure responsible platform usage, AmarTrip applies a structured cancellation policy with graduated restrictions based on repeated cancellations.

Cancellation Penalties

1-2 Cancellations (Grace Period)

No penalties or account restrictions will apply for the first one or two cancellations. This grace period allows riders reasonable flexibility for minor schedule changes or unexpected situations.

3rd Cancellation

A temporary fifteen (15) minute account block will be applied. During this period, the rider will not be able to request new trips. This serves as an initial warning to encourage mindful and responsible use of the Platform.

4th Cancellation

A second fifteen (15) minute temporary block will be imposed following the fourth cancellation.

5th Cancellation

A twenty-four (24) hour account suspension will be enforced. The rider must contact AmarTrip customer support to provide an explanation and request reinstatement of the account.

No-Show Responsibility

Riders who fail to appear at the pickup location without prior cancellation may be treated as a cancellation and subject to the same penalties described above.

Drivers may also report rider no-shows through the Platform for review.

Legal Clause: By using AmarTrip services, riders agree to comply with the cancellation and no-show policy described herein.

AmarTrip reserves the right to:

  • Impose temporary or extended account restrictions
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated misuse
  • Modify or update cancellation rules at its discretion to maintain service quality

Cancellation penalties are intended to ensure fair access to the Platform for all users and are not punitive in nature.

In the event of any dispute relating to cancellations, penalties, or suspensions, riders agree to cooperate with AmarTrip’s internal review and dispute resolution process and accept the final determination made by AmarTrip.

Section 10 – Account Logout, Deactivation, and Deletion

AmarTrip provides users with full control over their accounts, including temporary logout, permanent deactivation, or deletion. These features are designed to protect user data while allowing flexibility in account management.

10.1 Account Logout (Temporary)

Users may log out of their AmarTrip account at any time without affecting active bookings or stored data.

Procedure:

  1. Open the AmarTrip mobile application
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account → Logout
  3. Confirm the logout request

Logging out temporarily does not delete any personal information, trip history, or account preferences.

10.2 Account Deactivation or Deletion (Permanent)

Users may request permanent deactivation or deletion of their AmarTrip account subject to these Terms.

Procedure:

  1. Log into the AmarTrip mobile application
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account → (Three-dot Menu) → Delete Account
  3. Select or specify the reason for the request

Permanent deletion or deactivation is irreversible except where retention is required under applicable law.

AmarTrip reserves the right to decline, delay, or suspend account deletion or deactivation requests where:

  1. The account is subject to an active dispute, complaint, or claim
  2. There is an ongoing investigation involving the account
  3. Retention is required by law, regulation, or lawful order

By submitting a deletion or deactivation request, you acknowledge that such action is permanent and that AmarTrip bears no liability for any loss of data, content, or service access resulting from the account closure.

Section 11 – Rating System & Consequences

AmarTrip's rating system fosters accountability, quality service, and mutual trust within the rider-driver community. Ratings serve as a transparent feedback mechanism that encourages responsible behavior and consistent service standards.

11.1 Rating Calculation

Ratings for drivers and riders are calculated as the average of all completed trip scores. This method ensures fairness by reflecting overall performance rather than isolated incidents.

11.2 Mutual Rating System

Both riders and drivers rate each other after every trip. This two-way feedback encourages mutual respect, accountability, and transparency.

11.3 Consequences of Low Ratings

Users consistently receiving low ratings may be subject to the following measures to protect platform quality:

Section 12 – Lost & Found Policy

AmarTrip recognizes that losing personal belongings during a trip can be frustrating. While AmarTrip will assist in facilitating recovery, it is a technology platform only. AmarTrip does not own or operate vehicles and is not responsible for personal items lost, stolen, or damaged during trips.

12.1 Rider Responsibility

Passengers are solely responsible for safeguarding their belongings before, during, and after trips. Users should inspect seats, floor areas, and storage compartments before leaving the vehicle. Common items left behind include mobile phones, wallets, keys, bags, and headphones.

Example: If a mobile phone is left in a vehicle, AmarTrip is not responsible for replacement or reimbursement.

12.2 Reporting a Lost Item

Lost items may be reported to AmarTrip Support within twenty-four (24) hours of trip completion. Users should provide:

AmarTrip operates solely as a digital platform connecting riders with independent third-party drivers. The Platform does not own or operate vehicles or employ drivers, and its role is limited to facilitating trip booking, communication, and fare suggestions.

At AmarTrip, the safety and security of all users is our highest priority. The platform incorporates multiple monitoring and safety mechanisms to ensure secure trips, real-time visibility, and rapid emergency response.

Section 15 – Rider Responsibilities

To maintain a safe, respectful, and efficient environment, all riders must comply with the following obligations. These responsibilities are mandatory and legally binding.

Riders must provide complete and accurate information when booking trips, including:

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information is strictly prohibited and may result in penalties, account suspension, or permanent deactivation.

15.2 Respectful Conduct

Riders must interact with drivers and other users professionally and respectfully. Prohibited conduct includes:

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from AmarTrip.

15.3 Fare Payment

Riders are responsible for ensuring full and timely payment of agreed fares, including:

15.4 Compliance with Laws & Safety Regulations

Riders must adhere to all applicable laws of Bangladesh and follow safety regulations, including:

Section 16 – Prohibited Activities

To maintain platform integrity, safety, and fairness, users must not engage in the following prohibited activities. Violations may lead to account suspension, termination, or legal action.

16.1 No Offline Trips or Cash Deals

All bookings, payments, and communications must occur exclusively via the AmarTrip app. Arranging trips or payments outside the platform, including offline cash deals, is strictly forbidden.

Example: Directly arranging a ride with a driver outside the app violates AmarTrip policies.

16.2 No Account Sharing

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing login credentials is prohibited and may result in unauthorized use, false ratings, or account misuse.

Example: Allowing another person to use your driver account is a violation of Platform rules.

16.3 No Third-Party Manipulation

19.1 Initial Dispute Resolution through In-App Support

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to your use of the AmarTrip Services or these Terms (“Dispute”) shall first be submitted to AmarTrip’s in-app customer support system.
